Mr. Toad's Wild Ride

We made to Hong Kong-barely I feel like!  Our 4 hour van ride was CRAZY.  The driver was like a Chicago cabbie times 100.  Once we entered the Hong Kong, the driver had 2 Gps system and a paper map all out.  He did not speak English well and we didn't want to be rude, but in my head I was thinking, "You still don't know where we are staying after you received the destination weeks ago? You are looking at everything expect the road with all these INSANE drivers?"  I don't get car sick, but I was thinking about it. After hour 3 Ben had about had it, and was just moaning and crying and only staying entertained for short intervals.  I let him take off his shoes and socks, and by the time we showed up at our hotel in Hong Kong, called us disheveled would be putting it kindly.  We ordered salads from room service and "peas and mashed potatoes" (a kid menu item) for Ben. Ben LOVED both peas and the mashed potatoes, two things he has never had with us.  He laughed after he had a third bite. Then we all did our best to sleep, now we are up early and ready to leave for the airport in just a couple hours.  We can't wait to step into this new chapter of our life, home in the U.S. with our beautiful little boy.
No toys? No problem, I will play with the slippers and shoe tray.
