We are making slow but steady progress. After much back and forth, both of our agencies approved our home study yesterday. I literally drove straight to our agency, picked up the home study, plopped into a FedEx envelope already containing our Supplement 3 application and drove it straight to FedEx.
Hopefully we will have a new approval in the next 14 business days, then we can put that last piece of paper in our ready to go dossier and ship it off to CCAI!
The exciting news of others pushes us on- Krystyna and Laura sound like they are well on their way to making it back to Poland!!

Home study sent!
Yesterday the FBI clearances came in and the home study went to the State of Illinois. Woohoo!! We are already 3 weeks behind my mental timeline, but what can you do? We should hear back within 7-10 business days. Then I think it has to go to CCAI **sigh** for a review before it goes to USCIS. In the meantime, I am getting my Supplement 3 ready for USCIS. I plan to FedEx t and sent it with a FedEx envelope inside to have them FedEx it back. This time around, every day seems precious and I'm not messing around. :)

Waiting, waiting, waiting...
Our home study has been ready to go to the State of IL since Wednesday, May 2, but we are waiting on Tom's FBI prints. For some reason mine came in, but not Tom's , so I had to request they be re-sent, which I did on Tuesday. The state are now in, just waiting on the federal.. I'm not going to lie, I am ready to climb the walls in anticipation/frustration.. :) Maybe today or tomorrow...
